Talk About Being Addicted

As you know, I have a Facebook account.  As you also know, I don't usually update said Facebook account.  Mostly because I feel like I have nothing important to tell people.  Well, after what happened to this guy, maybe I should start updating a little more often.  At least I might get noticed.

This article talks about a guy who committed a crime and has managed to elude police DESPITE the fact that he was updating Facebook at the same time.  Really?  I don't even update Facebook when something cool happens to me and this guy commits a crime and wants to find a place to hide?  Unbelievable.

The guy is obviously trouble and should be caught and reprimanded for his crimes.  And if for nothing else then he should be arrested for using Facebook improperly.  He was trying to get a friend to aid and abet him when Facebook really should be used to play a game of Farmville or Words With Friends or just tell people that you're eating a PB&J.  Am I right?

I would say to give this guy a break and hope that there was a reason he was misusing Facebook to find a hideout, but I'm not going to.  Texting is what it's all about these days and he should have known that.  The people looking at Facebook are all older and people that would want him to turn himself in.  What's worse are the people that are simply encouraging him to continue running.  If they know where he is, they should talk or at least post it to Facebook.  Hey, maybe he'll post a picture with the new Facebook/InstaGram app.  That would be classic.

Until tomorrow.
