Babies are not funw hen they are sick. It is sad to think of their little bodies hurting in some way and them not being able to either tell you what's wrong or just crying because they don't feel good. Abby is in that state right now. As of this writing (11:15PM), she has now thrown up twice. Once on Joanna and once on her bed. Gross. Yes, it's gross and the smell of baby puke (sorry to anyone reading this while they are attempting to eat) pervades the room and her, but it's still sad to hold her and wonder exactly why she's throwing up.
It could be something she ate at school or dinner or the milk that she had, either at school or at home. But her dinner consisted of food that she has eaten before. The only reason that she didn't eat much tonight was probably because she didn't feel good. The milk could be a culprit. Not really sure how to prove that, but who knows.
Either way, poor little Abby doesn't mfeel good and we're going to have to monitor her the rest of the night. Not just for the normal "whimpers and cries" and pop the pacifier in and she's happy. But also for any sounds of coughing, which could lead to the vomit. Ugh.
This only makes a long night longer. Is it Friday yet?
Until tomorrow.
