Adobe Photoshop is such a great tool. I recently was able to have it installed on my computer at work because I will be doing more photo editing and manipulation in my work with the School of Nursing website.
I am watching videos provided by Adobe that will give me the basic knowledge to play around with the software and do some editing with my own pictures. Perhaps if I become competent enough, I might even be willing to show off some of my skills. I can almost guarantee that that won't be for awhile, but it's something to aspire to, right? And I am all about aspiring toward goals and dreams, right?
Lucky for me, I won't be needing the skills until summer. That gives me several months to learn about the product and try and try and try and try to make things work just right before I have to implement it for the website. What did Yoda say?
"Try not. Do or do not. There is no try."
And as much as I would like to reply in the same whiny tone as Luke Skywalker:
"You want the impossible."
I know that with time and effort, I can become good at Photoshop and hopefully some of the other products that are associated with it. Look to blog posts somewhere off in the distant future (about a month or two) before there is a chance for any imagery, though. I can't just jump right into it.
Until next time.
