Today was a rather slow day and because of that, I am forced to find some offbeat news and talk about it. In browsing one website of offbeat news, I came across this story:
Golfer Crashes Cart, Fails Breathalyzer
And where did it happen? Canada. This is not to say that all Canadiens are drunk when they play golf, but I was surprised that there was a Canadien actually playing golf. Maybe it's something to do before Hockey season starts, as the person is from Ottawa. Who knows? But it was a funny headline and, since I had little other news and still needed to post something for the day, I figured, what the heck.
Amazing though. I didn't realize that police happened to patrol the golf courses looking for drunk drivers. Are they looking for drunk irons and woods and putters and wedges too? Maybe. If you play golf, watch out for drunk golfers. Not only might you possibly get run over by one, but I'm sure the guy's short game is a little rough.
