Speaking of Katy Perry....
Was watching Idol tonight and saw KP singing her new song, ET. First off, I'm just glad she didn't start singing Firework. But here's the funny part: She was LIP SYNCING!!!! Plus, there was nothing about Eliot in the song or even ET's time on Earth or Halloween or anything. Not even a "thank you" to Steven Spielberg for telling his story.
And as if that wasn't enough, she came out being carried by some men. Did I miss something? When did Katy Perry become Lady Gaga? I was almost expecting an egg to come onto the stage and for Russell Brand to pop out. Her performance on Idol tonight was nuts. I don't know if she was trying to experiment with a new look or what, but it was too much.
As for the actual results, I was not surprised by it. Stefano had been in the bottom three several times now and it finally caught up with him. Thank you America for kicking him off the show.
