Sometimes It's the Little Things......

This past weekend, we were out driving and I noticed that Joanna's ODOMETER read 99953.  Not too far from 100,000 miles.  Joanna has had this car since 2003, so that's not bad.  It averages to just over 13,000 a year.  And it's still in great condition and we are very happy with it.

Of course, when hauling a baby around, a sedan of any size might be a little too small considering everything that you have to take with you - just in case.  But that's beside the point right now.  Right now, it's about the current vehicle.  And last night, that vehicle reached 100,000.

Naturally, we had to take a picture of the momentous occasion - though, zooming down the freeway at seventy miles an hour at night might not have been the best time to take a picture.  But Joanna did.  When the mileage read 99999, we got excited.  Joanna felt it was like New Year's Eve and counting down for the ball to drop in Times Square.  Maybe it was.  We felt the need to celebrate.  Neither of us had had a vehicle that long, so it was just something new for the both of us.  Regardless of the celebration or the lack thereof, it was something special.  Something that people with such exciting lives as we have do on a regular basis.  Like the title says, sometimes it's the little things.

So sit back, relax and let your fingers do the walking . . . not to the Yellow Pages (do they still print the Yellow Pages), but to my blog, because starting tomorrow, it's 31 days of blogness.

Until tomorrow.
